DEIONIZED WATER--A common form of purified water.

BEESWAX--helps with chapped skin and dry itchy, irritated skin problems. Eczema patients can get great benefit from using beeswax salves and creams to help relieve the flair ups associated with eczema.

CETEARYL ALCOHOL--It is not really an "alcohol", such as rubbing alcohol, which would dry the skin, but it is an emulsifying wax, made by combining fatty alcohols from vegetable sources. It's used as an emollient, thickening agent, moisturizer, emulsifier, stabilizer, opacifier as well as a carrying agent for other ingredients.

COCO-GLUCOSIDE--a non-ionic surfactant (foaming agent) synthesised from coconut and glucose. It has excellent dermatological compatibility. It is very mild on the skin.

COCONUT OIL--Used by the islanders through the centuries to protect and moisturize their skin while aiding in acquiring a glorious, glowing dark tan. It's mild and gentle for those with skin sensitivities.

CETEARYL OLIVATE--Non ionic, not ethoxylated, PEG-free, emulsifier derived from olive oil. Softens and hydrates the skin.

SORBITAN OLIVATE--Non ionic, not ethoxylated, PEG-free, emulsifier derived from olive oil. Softens and hydrates the skin.

SUNFLOWER OIL--Is a superior moisturizer, with unusually high amounts of Vitamins A, D and E. It's highly recommended to treat dry, weathered, aged, and damaged skin.

GLYCERIN--Used as an emollient, glycerine shores up the skin's natural protection by attracting just the right amount of water to maintain the skin's homeostasis. There is also research indicating that the presence of glycerine in the intercellular layer helps other skin lipids do their jobs better.

COCOA BUTTER--Is an excellent salve, extracted directly from cocoa beans, for chapped areas and is used in the prevention of stretch marks. It is also gentle enough for a baby's tender skin.

SHEA BUTTER--A natural plant lipid that is used as both a thickener and an emulsifier. Also has effective moisturizing and skin protecting characteristics.

LECITHIN--Found in the membranes of plant cells (soy), it is widely used in cosmetics as an emollient and water-binding agent.

GREEN TEA EXTRACT--More than 20 studies have indicated that it may prevent some cancers including those of the skin. Green Tea is a powerful antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals from UV radiation and helps protect skin cells.

CARROT EXTRACT--nourishes the skin and helps prevent aging of life.

JOJOBA OIL--A non-fragrant natural emollient with excellent moisturizer and skin conditioning properties.

VITAMIN E--offers antioxidant protection, which may reduce cancer risk, slows cell damage, and provides anticarcinogenic protection. Also acts as a natural preservative.

ETHYL VANILLIN----Non-artificial and natural from vanilla beans. Provides a light vanilla scent to the product.

POTASSIUM SORBATE--a natural preservative to extend shelf stability as a replacement for parabens. It is non-irritating and non-sensitizing.

SODIUM BENZOATE--a salt compound used as a natural preservative.
